Sustainability through Sport Network
We are Breathe, an Italian association of social promotion that raises awareness on environmental and sustainability issues with sport and in sport.
Breathe is a non-profit association aimed at promoting sustainability, both environmental and social, through sport and physical activity and likewise promote sustainability within the world of sport. Breathe recognises the crucial value of having a healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle nowadays and, believing strongly in the principle of social equality, wants to take concrete action to support an individual and social change in this direction. Currently, the association acts at a local level through collaborations with organisations, private entities, other associations, or professionals working in the environmental field in the broadest sense (agriculture, regeneration of green areas, protection of mountain areas, etc.) and in the sports field (gyms, sports associations, etc.).
The association is eager to engage in collaborations on a European level in projects consistent with its objectives among wich pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely, goals:
